What's happening and how to get there
On Sunday 23 September 2007 Unite is holding its first
major rally to take a message from all working people to the Labour
party.
Join the march to make Labour listen. Unite is demanding:
- an end to off-shoring - quality, secure jobs for all
- to ensure equal rights for agency workers - and trade
unionfreedom for all
- to close the yawning wealth gap
- to deliver fair pay to public sector workers and quality,
publicly provided health and education for all
- to free councils to build decent housing for all
Speakers to include joint general secretaries Derek Simpson and
Tony Woodley and more. So get involved - join the
demonstration.
Don't forget, the rally and demonstration takes place on Sunday
23 September 2007 at 1.00pm in Bournemouth. It will be a
family-friendly event with children's entertainment provided at the
rally and Unite is encouraging all members to come along and help
send a message to Labour..

It will be a family-friendly event and we are encouraging
our members to come along with their partners and children to
help us send our message to Labour.
Children’s entertainment will include a bouncy castle, a clown
and face painters.

Both Unite General Secretaries and union activists will speak at
the the rally.
With your help, and with your assistance, we will make this
first Unite rally a great success.
